Assessments

A comprehensive assessment to evaluate an individual’s physical, cognitive, sensory needs and abilities as well as their overall functioning in daily activities.

We are trained and experienced in NDIS-specific assessments such as Functional Capacity Assessments, as well as detailed OT assessments for SIL and SDA funding.

Treatment planning and intervention

We develop treatment plans specific to the individual needs and the goals they have identified.

Occupational Therapy intervention can include developing daily skills such as meal preparation, budgeting, establishing daily routines, transport training and developing skills for volunteering or paid employment.

Assistive Technology

We provide assessment and advice to support assistive technology (AT) applications, from low-cost/low-risk items to more complex equipment such as wheelchairs and seating. AT supports individuals by improving their independence, increasing functioning and ensuring greater safety while performing daily living tasks.

Home Modifications

We provide assessment and consultation around minor home modifications to improve safety, independence and accessibility for individuals. Examples of minor home modifications include the installation of grab rails, threshold ramps and handheld showers.

Alive OT is a community-based Occupational Therapy business providing quality Assessment and Intervention services across the Perth Metropolitan area.

We provide services to adults in their homes, workplace and the local community. With the experience behind us we can respond to the needs of individuals across a variety of disabilities and
